Emergency Preparedness

Organize yourselves and prepare every needful thing. D&C 109:8



Our next Relief Society Additional Meeting will be Thursday September 9 at 7pm at the ward meeting house.


Sister Misa Nickerson will be teaching a class on 72 hour kits


Sister Amy Henderson will be presenting a class on storing and sanitizing water for emergencies.




Sister Celestia Erickson will be teaching a class on preparing children for emergencies.


Please bring a salad or dessert to share and join with us as we learn how to be better prepared for emergencies that may occur.

Couponing TIPS
-Check expiration dates and limitations!!!
-Keep eye out for double/triple coupons (Albertson’s, Lowe’s Foods, and occasionally Kmart)
-Gather multiples of coupons; keep in folders by Sunday date
-Don’t always use coupons fast, you may find a better deal a few weeks/months later!
-You can always get paid (MAIL IN REBATES!!!) Rite Aid.
-Find offers in weekly coupon inserts, on “peelies”, and tear pads in stores or other online offers noted by others in blogs or coupon forum websites listed above).
-Stock up when sales are HOT!!! You determine how much you will pay per item!
-Get a rain check if items are out of stock from that weeks sales!!!
-Trade with others; Have a coupon party/group!!!
-Subscribe to store websites for additional in-store coupon savings (Food Lion, Giant).

This Little Piggy Relief Society August Activity

This month's Relief Society Activity will be on Thursday August 5, 2010 6:30 pm.  We are doing a "This Little Piggy" theme.  There will be 3 different classes plus a delicious ham dinner!!

We will provide the ham and dessert for the dinner. We would like sisters to bring a side dish. Nursery will be provided, please sign up if you will be bringing children for the nursery.
